XLR8

Developed by Simtex located in Aldershot UK back in 1997/98 
The game was Originaly for PC. 
A PS1 version was briefly started before the company declare bankruptcy.

The game was then Purchased by thompson csf. PC and PS1 release were scraped. A small part of team was hired to convert the game on a simpler arcade version.
The game was running on a boosted 3dFX
and use a prototype of what would later become the thomson venturer.

The Prototype were available to public for some time at the sega center in london, and in some Asian country.


How to play:

1-Download and install NGlide from Zeus Software.

2-Start RocktVS2198.exe

3-If you have a compatible Steering wheel or a double joystick set up...then Click Start Attack Mode

4-Click Start Presentation

5-KeyBoard Control.
Left= LeftArrow
Right= RightArrow
Accelerate= UpArrow
Validate(menu)= Enter
Shoot missile=Left Shift
Shoot Gun=Right Shift
Activate arcade machine motion captor1 error message= D
Activate arcade machine motion captor2 error message= B
Remove error message= S
Arcade machine emergency stop(will kill the game)= K
